The Shocking Truth: Why Berenson Says Biden Must Be Publicly Shamed

It was already known that Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr. was severely mentally ill.
Robert Hur, the federal prosecutor who investigated Biden for holding sensitive materials, interviewed him in October 2023, and last night, fragments from that interrogation surfaced online.

I despise them. A guy with advanced dementia is depicted. Basic information, including when elections are held, slipped Biden’s mind. The lifelong presidential lusitant Joe Biden actually believed Donald Trump had won in November 2017, not 2016. It was deliberate. Oh, he had no idea. He needed to be corrected by an aide.

Not even that synopsis does justice to Biden’s difficulties.

I don’t agree with him. The way he describes it is more problematic. His voice is low and hardly audible. Despite his inability to recall the exact date of his son Beau’s death, he occasionally breaks silence, wanders off topic, and gives strangely sentimental asides about him. Seemingly oblivious to his time as vice president, he talks about his time as a senator before launching into his presidential campaign.

The probe into the confidential materials ultimately failed. (It was unnecessary, just like in the Trump case). However, Hur, a highly regarded prosecutor who served as the U.S. Attorney for Maryland during Trump’s first term, uncovered something even more significant: evidence of Biden’s incompetence.

Even before the 2020 election, Biden and his aides tried to tremendous measures to shield him from media and public criticism, which is why the Hur interview is so pivotal.

Naturally, Biden read his talks on a teleprompter. Rare and well planned were his news briefings. The questions that would be asked had been communicated to him beforehand. As he walked from the White House to Marine One, Biden had one of his rare spontaneous, public encounters. From time to time, he would clumsily approach the “gaggle” of reporters who were shouting questions at him and manage to utter a brief statement.

Probably never in Biden’s whole administration, during an interview with Hur, did he encounter uncontrollable, extended probing. This explains why Biden and his aides avoided such situations at all costs.

According to Hur’s inquiry report from last year, Biden was described as “a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.” According to the recording, the description was generous.

The interviewee isn’t trustworthy enough to drive you to the supermarket.
A nuclear code belonged to Biden.

Hur much worse, in 2023, he interviewed Biden. He would still be in office until January 2029 if Biden and his associates had their way. If he makes it that long, the interview implies he will be in a vegetative state by then.

Shortly after the Justice Department published Hur’s inquiry report in February 2024, the establishment media devalued its significance and questioned Hur’s intentions.

“In what is supposedly a legal document, these inclusions certainly looked gratuitous—to say the least,” the New Yorker noted in a piece about Biden’s “righteous fury” over the report.

Hur allegedly had a “five-hour face-off” with Biden, according to the Washington Post two days later, which stated:

“Hur’s description of Biden’s demeanor as that of a” well-meaning, old man with a weak memory “would infuriate Biden’s aides, who saw it as sharply at odds with what occurred as the president sat for voluntary questioning.”

Disagreeable, aren’t they?

I have already discussed how the media failed in their responsibility to report on Biden’s fall, beginning with their coverage before to the Hur report and continuing until his terrible Atlanta debate on June 27 rendered such coverage impossible. The media’s incompetence is something I will return to later. The severity of Biden’s cognitive impairment and the White House’s cover-up were laid bare in Hur’s report. As soon as the report surfaced, the plot ought to have dominated the 2024 campaign.

My perspective here is limited to the past. I stated that this may be much worse for Biden than a genuine indictment on February 9, 2024, the day the article was released.

Even though Biden was surrounded by protective cocoons in the spring of 2024, most of the media chose to ignore him as his gaffes and mistakes became more apparent. However, the establishment media is just the antagonist with secondary importance.
The persons closest to Joe Biden, including his wife Jill and son Hunter, were the ones who emphasized that he was and would be fit to serve until he was 86 years old. The motivations of Jill and Hunt were different. Jill’s obsession with power and its accoutrements is almost comical in its naiveté if it weren’t so harmful; Hunter, on the other hand, has expensive taste for champagne and a beer budget (or, to be more precise, tastes cocaine and has a meth budget).

But naturally, Biden and the rest of them were aware of the reality. They would not have concealed it to such a degree if it hadn’t happened.

Pretend Biden was the victor. Consider the alternative scenario in if he had managed to emerge victorious from his debates with Trump and returned to his presidential cocoon. What if, like in the spring, the media had maintained all the way up to Election Day that the films depicting his fall were really “cheap fakes”? It would be on the brink of a constitutional catastrophe. There is no easy or speedy way to remove an unsuitable president from office under our non-parliamentary system. By voluntarily seeking reelection, Biden demonstrated that he would not relinquish power unless compelled to do so.

Robert Hur faced authority with truth. A hero he is.

In an effort to persuade American voters to grant him four more years in the world’s most important position, Biden and others around him spread lies about his fundamental functional capacity. He is unworthy of forgiveness. There ought to be a sentence in his obituary detailing his transgressions.

Even if he is unable to recall, we must not forget his actions.
