Explosive Courtroom Drama: Trump’s Lawyer Alleges Cohen Perjury…

In an effort to emphasize his points regarding a contentious phone call that Michael Cohen claimed he made to notify Trump about the Stormy Daniels deal’s finalization on October 24, 2016, Trump attorney Todd Blanche has been increasingly heated, staccato-delivering his words.

During the cross-examination, Blanche showed the jury that Cohen had been getting harassing calls from a supposed 14-year-old in the hours leading up to the call. Blanche also suggested that the call Cohen claimed he made to Trump’s bodyguard to reach Trump was actually just to inform the bodyguard about the harassing calls. In his testimony, Cohen said that during that phone conversation with Trump, he discussed the harassing calls as well as the hush money from Daniels.

“It was all falsehoods.” Yelled out to the jurors, Blanche said. He went over the testimony of Cohen. Going syllable by syllable, Blanche pronounced the word “per-jur-y” as one.

Blanche informed the jury that in response to the evidence about the harassing calls, the prosecution presented a still image from a C-SPAN film capturing an incident that occurred that night. The footage showed Trump’s bodyguard, Keith Schiller, alongside the president.

According to Blanche, the proof proved the “unremarkable fact” that Trump was in the company of Schiller, and she made fun of it. Are you serious? “Thanks,” Blanche remarked with a hint of sarcasm.

“Is there equal and identical evidence of deceit for all of the things that man told you?” Cohen testified, Blanche stated. “Absolutely not. Our solemn vow is to do just that, Blanche declared. His statement was deceitful.
