After the judge in Donald Trump’s New York civil fraud trial ruled that the president’s daughter, Ivanka Trump, must testify, Donald Trump lashed out at the court on Saturday.
After Ivanka Trump was dropped as a defendant in June, her father publicly criticised the judge overseeing the case, calling him “unhinged” and “an out of control ‘Nut Job,'” in a post on Truth Social.
“I truly believe he is CRAZY, but certainly, at a minimum, CRAZY in his hatred of me,” Trump tweeted.
In a separate tweet, Trump slammed Engoron as “grossly incompetent,” “a partisan political hack,” and a “Radical Trump Hater.”
Trump has made repeated attacks on both Engoron and New York Attorney General Tish James, who is also involved in the lawsuit.
Judge Engoron issued the gag order after Trump erroneously claimed that the court clerk was his “girlfriend” and released a photo of her with Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer.
On Wednesday, Trump was fined $10,000 for his second breach of the gag order.
Last year, James filed a lawsuit against Trump in a New York court, accusing him of widespread corporate fraud. Trump is also the target of multiple state and federal criminal investigations.
