Elon Musk, a former friend of President Trump’s, and other prominent MAGA supporters are furious with the administration for withholding further details regarding the criminal case and death of Jeffrey Epstein. They are directing their anger towards Attorney General Pam Bondi and other high-ranking law enforcement officials.
After reviewing Epstein’s client list and history of blackmail, the Trump administration revealed Monday night that no proof of damning material was uncovered. Epstein committed suicide in a New York jail cell in 2019.
The president’s administration’s willingness to indulge in conspiracy theories concerning Epstein reinforced the support of some of his most fervent supporters, and their wrath has been severe as a result. The fragile bond between the president and his supporters might be jeopardized by this schism and other divisions over American policy in the Ukraine and the Middle East.
A far-right activist named Laura Loomer sent a text message to HEADLINESFOREVER saying, “Blondi should be fired.” Loomer used a derogatory nickname for Bondi. “It seems like she’s attempting to shield herself from the horrific crimes committed by Epstein, which originate from her tenure as the attorney general of Florida, and her own dreadful record.”
Maybe the brunt of the criticism has fallen on Bondi. Ever since she implied in a February interview with Fox News that the pertinent documents were “sitting on my desk right now,” she has been under intense pressure from both political factions to divulge what is supposedly Epstein’s “client list.” There was no client list, according to Monday’s government release.
As for my part, I simply said that it is now awaiting review on my desk. “That is, the file, in addition to the JFK and MLK files,” Bondi said during a Cabinet meeting held at the White House on Tuesday.
Online influencers who had earlier courted Bondi, FBI Director Kash Patel, and Deputy Director Dan Bongino have now turned on them. Rogan O’Handley (also known as DC Draino on X), Jack Posobiec, and other conservative influencers were reportedly summoned to the White House in February and given binders with further material about Epstein’s case.
According to the influencers, the binders didn’t include much fresh information.
On Monday, Liz Wheeler, another major figure in the MAGA movement who was invited to the White House in February, stated that Bondi had “become a liability to this administration” in an interview with right host Glenn Beck.
What the government has lost in voter goodwill due to this entire fiasco is likely only now becoming apparent, according to Wheeler. Furthermore, Pam Bondi is not worthwhile. She poses a risk. We need to go over this.
Meanwhile, Trump hopes to put the incident behind him.
“Are we back to the subject of Jeffrey Epstein?” For years, people have been raving about this person. Everything is at our fingertips; we have Texas, this, and everything else. Is this creep still making headlines? That is just incredible,” he said during the Cabinet meeting on Tuesday. Considering that we’ve seen both incredible success and tragedy in Texas, I find it unbelievable that you’re bringing up Epstein at this moment. As far as I can tell, it’s a sacrilege.
The “continued fixation on sowing division in President Trump’s Cabinet is baseless and unfounded in reality,” White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt told HEADLINESFOREVER, echoing that stance. In response to HEADLINESFOREVER’s request for comment, neither the DOJ nor the FBI provided any information.
Those in the president’s inner circle, however, agree that the situation is a mess.
He told HEADLINESFOREVER Playbook, “It’s a massive mess that has caused a lot of frustration.”—A top official in the Trump administration. It was the binders that were the issue. Since then, every choice they’ve taken has made things worse.
In a post made on Truth Social on Monday, Trump has also shown his support for Patel and Bongino. Leavitt further emphasized that the White House has made openness a top priority during the inquiry.
“They promised to conduct a thorough investigation,” she stated during Monday’s news conference. That’s exactly what they did, and they even gave us the findings. That is honesty.
But members of the administration, such as Patel and Vice President JD Vance, who promoted conspiracy theories about Epstein before becoming president, have honed the MAGA pitchforks.
Musk, a former staffer of the White House, has joined the chorus of those criticizing the government in a string of tweets on X.
“If Trump refuses to release the Epstein files, how can the American people have faith in him?” he said in a public post on Tuesday afternoon.
