Romney Drops Bombshell: Trump Would Have Been Pardoned Under His Presidency…

Mitt Romney, the former senator from Massachusetts, has stated that he would “immediately” pardon Trump if elected president.

In an interview that will run on MSNBC on Wednesday, the Utah Republican stated that this would make him look like the bigger guy in the circumstance and that the charges against the ex-president will not be decided before the election.

According to Romney, if he had been President Joe Biden at the time the indictments were announced by the Justice Department, he would have granted Biden a pardon without delay. Bringing charges against a sitting president is something no nation wants to undertake, to be honest.

Being an outspoken opponent of Trump and a “guilty” vote during both of the president’s impeachment trials puts Romney in a dwindling niche among elected Republicans. At the conclusion of his term, Romney will also be departing from office.

He has now joined other notable Republicans in expressing the belief that Trump ought to be pardoned. Several of these personalities have stressed the need to bring the nation together and put Trump’s deeds in the past. While Trump was dogged by many indictments throughout the Republican primary, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis vowed to take on the Department of Justice, while former presidential contender Vivek Ramaswamy offered to pardon Trump upon election.

Mitt Romney went on Wednesday to tell reporters in a Capitol Hill office building that it was “embarrassing” for Republicans to be present at the Manhattan hush money criminal trial of Donald Trump.

“People running for the highest office in the land are expected to display a certain level of dignity and decorum…” “It’s somewhat humiliating,” he remarked.

“The 11th Hour with Stephanie Ruhle” will air Romney’s interview at 11 p.m. Eastern.
