Fox News commentator Sean Hannity responds to the sentence in the case of New York v. Trump on “Hannity,” stating that the lawfare campaign of the left has been “eviscerated” by President-elect Donald Trump.
Trump has demolished the left’s lawfare campaign, which has persisted for years despite dubious warrants, subpoenas, raids in the wee hours of the morning, scores of false accusations following one another, judges leaning heavily to the left, and jurors that hated Trump. Juan Merchan, a Democratic contributor and judge in New York, stated today that Trump will not be subject to probation, fines, or jail time following his conviction by a Manhattan jury on an unusual and odd legal theory involving a case without victims. I mean, it was a lawyer-drafted non-disclosure agreement that was documented as a legal fee. “Sir,” Judge Merchan wished Trump well as he began his second term in office. It nearly made me chuckle. Donald Trump will, of course, appeal this false conviction, even though he will face no punishment whatsoever. The soon-to-be president attacked the left and their efforts to turn the legal system into a weapon at his sentence.
Attempts were made to have the former president thrown into prison by Democrats who hated Trump. Their plan was to have him detained on Rikers Island. Destroying his life was their goal. In an effort to prevent him from being elected, they did endeavor to damage his reputation. One of the largest scandals in contemporary American history, this one is enormous. The media is also totally cool with it. The Democrats were completely unsuccessful. And now the moment of truth has arrived.
