Palm Sunday is one week before Easter Sunday, and President Trump posted on Truth Social to wish everyone a “HAPPY EASTER!” on that day.
“This Holy Week, Christians around the World remember the Crucifixion of God’s Only Begotten Son, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and, on Easter Sunday, we celebrate His Glorious Resurrection and proclaim, as Christians have done for nearly 2,000 years, ‘HE IS RISEN!’” the president wrote in the post on social media.
“Through the pain and sacrifice of Jesus on the Cross, we saw God’s boundless Love and Devotion to all Humanity and, in that moment of His Resurrection, History was forever changed with the Promise of Everlasting Life,” said he.
Christians everywhere have my best wishes for a joyous and blessed Easter weekend as we draw near. Americans are a Faithful Nation. With God’s assistance, our nation will be more united, powerful, prosperous, and secure than ever before. God is necessary, and we desire God. May you have a joyful Easter!
In Sunday’s “Presidential Message on Holy Week, 2025” (released by the White House), the president weighed in on the matter as well.
“This Holy Week, Melania and I join in prayer with Christians celebrating the crucifixion and resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ—the living Son of God who conquered death, freed us from sin, and unlocked the gates of Heaven for all of humanity,” the preacher says.
The president’s address reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to protecting the Christian religion in all public and private institutions, including classrooms, businesses, hospitals, and government buildings. The right to religious freedom, the value of every human life, and the presence of God in public life are unwavering principles that we will always fight to defend.
Trump has already stated his belief that God protected his life, when he nearly averted assassination last year.
God saved me so that we might restore America’s greatness. “I think that,” he said last month in his speech to a joint session of government.
“In excellent health,” according to the president’s doctor, who just conducted the president’s yearly physical checkup.
