The High-Profile Targets Bondi’s DOJ Quietly Took Down That No One Expected

In her first month at the helm of the Justice Department, Attorney General Pam Bondi made headlines by apprehending violent illegal immigrants and terrorists linked to ISIS. She also dismantled drug cartels and promised to “continue working day in and day out to deliver on President Trump’s Make America Safe Agenda.”

Fighting violent crime is the primary aim of the Justice Department under Bondi’s leadership. The department is also taking important steps to safeguard women’s sports, eradicate antisemitism, and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Following Bondi’s swearing-in on February 5, the Department of Justice (DOJ) has apprehended a New York-based criminal with ties to ISIS, who allegedly provided financial support to the terrorist group; an ISIS-K attack planner, who allegedly planned the assault on Abbey Gate in Afghanistan that killed thirteen American service members; and two undocumented immigrants, who are accused of leading one of the biggest human smuggling rings in the US.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) took custody of 29 Mexican nationals in March. These defendants are facing charges in various U.S. districts for offenses such as racketeering, drug trafficking, murder, illegal gun use, money laundering, and more. Among them is Rafael Caro Quintero, a notorious Mexican drug lord who was wanted for the 1985 torturing and murder of a Drug Enforcement Administration agent. This came after Secretary of State Marco Rubio and his Mexican colleagues met bilaterally.

Bondi informed HeadlinesForever Digital that the current DOJ administration is “rooting DEI out of American institutions,” destroying cartel networks, and prosecuting dangerous terrorists. “We will continue working day in and day out to deliver on President Trump’s Make America Safe Agenda.”

Bondi also issued a warning to the states of Minnesota, California, and Maine, threatening legal action unless they adhere to federal antidiscrimination statutes that exclude boys from participating in women’s sports.

Moreover, she made a solemn promise that the Department of Justice will “hold accountable states and state entities that violate federal law.”

Illinois and New York were also sued by the Justice Department in February for violating federal immigration rules. Bondi warned that the department “stands ready to sue states and state entities that defy federal antidiscrimination laws.” on a separate occasion.

Extradited to “face American justice,” according to FBI Director Kash Patel, was ISIS-K member Mohammad Sharifullah earlier in March. Sharifullah is accused of planning the 2021 Abbey Gate bombing, which killed 13 U.S. military members and at least 160 civilians during the disorganized Biden administration’s withdrawal from Afghanistan.

Justice for our 13 finally arrived three and a half years later, Patel wrote on X.

On Wednesday, Sharifullah was set to make his initial appearance before a federal court in Virginia. He is facing charges of plotting to give resources and material support to a designated foreign terrorist organization, which may lead to his execution.

“This is just the beginning,” a representative from the Justice Department said HeadlinesForever Digital. “Attorney General Bondi is completely dedicated in her mission to refocus the Department of Justice on fighting crime, prosecuting dangerous criminals, holding rogue jurisdictions accountable for flouting federal law, and removing DEI from our institutions.”

The representative went on to say, “The DOJ has more to come on all those fronts and more.”
