During an antagonistic interview over the administration’s foreign policies, President Trump harshly insulted Terry Moran of ABC News.
“They’re giving you the big break of a lifetime,” Trump told Moran during their discussion about Kilmar Abrego Garcia’s deportation. It’s alright; I chose you for the interview despite the fact that I’ve never heard of you. Terry, you are not being very polite, but I still choose you.
Trump became more irritated with Moran on more than one occasion during their discussion about the administration’s achievements and scandals in the first 100 days in office.
Trump was questioned by Moran if he trusted Putin, the Russian president, in response to questions over Trump’s connection with Putin.
“You disillusion me. “A lot of people don’t trust me,” Trump told Moran. “You disillusion me. Gaze upon you. Your enthusiasm for the interview is palpable, but then you launch into a barrage of insincere questions.
Trump further attacked Joe Biden, the former president, throughout the interview.
“We had a president that was grossly incompetent,” he stated. That was obvious to you. That much was obvious to me. It was common knowledge. Because you’re not real news, you choose not to write about it.
“By the way, ABC is one of the worst, I have to be honest with you,” said he.
Since Trump’s inauguration, the White House has taken a harder line with the press.
As stated in a news release by the Trump administration, “Since President Donald J. Trump took office 100 days ago, it has been a nonstop deluge of hoaxes and lies from Democrats and their allies in the Fake News suffering from terminal cases of Trump Derangement Syndrome.”
Following this, the administration listed 57 so-called “hoaxes” that were supposedly circulated by Democrats, the media, and those who oppose the president.
