White House in Turmoil After DOGE Account Sends Secret Message to Musk Foe

An anonymous White House official and a second individual with knowledge of the situation are attempting to establish the truth about an event involving a former VA employee who utilized their position to attack a well-known opponent of Elon Musk.

There was a direct message on X from the official DOGE Veterans Affairs account to James Fishback, the anti-DEI investor who just formed FSD PAC, a super PAC to limit Musk’s political aspirations.

I think it would be beneficial for us to have a conversation, James. Your actions as of late have gone too far. For that reason, we first turned down your DOGE application. Let’s take it to the next level. “This is embarrassing,” stated the note, which was reviewed by HEADLINESFOREVER.

According to Fishback, he never even applied for a job at DOGE. Fishback came up with the “DOGE dividend check” scheme, which was accepted by both President Trump and Musk, and advised Vivek Ramaswamy on DOGE when Ramaswamy was still participating.

According to the White House official, the individual responsible for sending the message is no longer employed by the VA. They went on to say that the administration is confidence in all of its employees working together as a cohesive unit. According to that individual, consequences will be enforced if it is determined that such is not true.

The aim of minimizing waste, fraud, and abuse must be realized and maintained, according to White House spokeswoman Harrison Fields. “The president was elected on a platform of better managing taxpayer dollars, and every department and agency is cooperating to make good on that promise.”

The government is now struggling to control the impact of DOGE in light of Musk’s transformation into an antagonist of Trump, and this episode comes at a crucial period when the sole known case of a Musk loyalist turning rogue and working against Trump’s and the GOP’s agenda is occurring.

As part of its recruiting process, the Presidential Personnel Office has made loyalty a priority, reviewing candidates’ social media profiles and asking them pointed questions about their support for President Trump. However, a Trump official who wished to remain anonymous said that the hiring process for DOGE, which was overseen by Musk separately, did not follow the same rigorous standards.

Musk formed a new political party, the America Party, this week and intends to use its funds to influence at least ten House elections and two or three Senate races. “Considering the extremely narrow margins in the legislature, that would be sufficient to determine the fate of controversial laws, guaranteeing that they reflect the genuine desire of the people,” Musk stated on Friday.

Trump wasted no time retaliating.

In a post he made on Truth Social over the weekend, he expressed his sadness at seeing Elon Musk’s “fall from grace” and deterioration over the previous five weeks. While Trump has made threats to use DOGE against Musk, it is not apparent how much influence he has over the network of individuals who have agreed to work for the tech tycoon.

There is just one public post from the DOGE VA account that contacted Fishback in February, when it engaged with X user on the improvement of veterans’ health care. further than that, the account has no further postings. Despite the VA being the largest health system in the country, the message recognized that more could be done to assist veterans and questioned if building more VA hospitals was the correct option.

The VA-linked account is among a number of relatively inactive DOGE-branded X accounts, such as @DOGE_USDA and @DOGE_SSA. Two institutions that continue to be strongholds of DOGE—the General Services Administration and the Office of Personnel Management—are associated with the most active social accounts that promote DOGE operations, apart from the main handle.

Josh Gruenbaum is the Commissioner of the Federal Acquisition Service under GSA, while Acting Administrator Stephen Ehikian is in charge of GSA. Acting Director of OPM is Charles Ezell. Since the beginning of Trump’s second term, both agencies have been refocused to carry out DOGE’s mission. Each agency is staffed by dozens of DOGE workers. Seven DOGE workers have connections to the Department of Veterans Affairs, according to the DOGE tracker in the New York Times.
